This database contains confirmed KBA area data, qualifying species information, and KBA data associated with identified threats, aiming to guide conservation efforts by governments, non-governmental organizations and local communities, attract donor support, and help enterprises mitigate their adverse impacts on biodiversity. The KBAs program identifies, maps, monitors and protects these areas to ensure their safe preservation for future generations.
