Genome sequencing of suppressor strains of the asfR mutant

The asfR mutant strain of Actinoplanes missouriensis shows the defect in sporangium dehiscence. We isolated the suppressor strains from the mutant library generated by UV irradiation of the asfR mutant. The sporangia of the suppressor strains normaly opened to release spores under sporangium dehiscence-inducing conditions. To identify the mutation points, genome sequencing of the suppressor strains, together with the asfR mutant, were conducted.
