Qualitative interviews

Transcripts of 90 interviews that were part of the qualitative study of the EIS-COVID project (ANID-COVID 0508). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews (N = 90) with people from the groups most at risk for COVID-19: a) adults older than 64 years and b) people between 18 and 64 years old with diabetes and hypertension. People who completed the national EIS COVID survey (eiscovid.cl) and met the inclusion criteria were recruited as participants. The interviews addressed sociocultural conditions, health practices, and exposure to information about the pandemic. The study was approved by the ethics committee of the Diego Portales University in Chile and the participants gave oral informed consent prior to applying the interview.
