Reference intervals for haematology, clinical chemistry and acute phase reactants in free-ranging African elephants (Loxodonta africana)

The dataset was used to generate reference intervals for haematology, clinical chemistry and acute phase reactants for the free ranging African elephant (Loxodonta africana). Samples were obtained of animals from the Kruger National Park, both sexes and all ages were used. The 3rd table data set contains data of the injured elephants, to evaluate acute phase reactants within this species.
