Ionospheric Disturbance Observations Near 120°E During the May 2024 Superstorm: Multi-Instrument Dataset

This dataset contains multi-instrument observations documenting ionospheric disturbances along the 120°E longitude sector during the May 10-12, 2024 geomagnetic superstorm—the most intense space weather event since 2004 (Dst = -412 nT, Kp = 9). The dataset includes:- Processed vertical TEC from 9 BeiDou GEO satellite stations spanning 47°N to 32°S- Digital ionosonde data (foF2, hmF2) from 4 stations- Space weather indices (GOES, OMNI) and geomagnetic data- Global ionospheric maps (CODE GIM)- Satellite observations (Swarm, TIMED/GUVI, FY-3E, DMSP)- Model outputs (HWM14 neutral winds, PPEEFM electric fields)- Magnetometer data for equatorial electrojet analysis Study period: May 7-14, 2024 (including pre-storm baseline). All data are provided in their original downloaded format and processed analysis-ready format.
