Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a fungal secondary metabolite widely found in cereal and a wide variety of foods; it also exhibits carcinogenic effects, nephrotoxicity, and teratogenicity. In this study, the zebrafish was applied to investigate the effects of ochratoxin A on gene expressions in zebrafish embryos. Overall design: Ochratoxin A mediated mRNA expression in zebrafish embryos which were exposed from 6 hpf to 48 hpf with doses of 0 and 0.5 micromolar.
