n this study, we addressed these challenges by utilizing n-hexadecane (HEX) and phenanthrene (PHE) as model compounds for hydrocarbon pollutants. We employed stable-isotope probing with multi-isotope labeling substrates, 16S amplicon sequencing, and metagenomic sequencing to investigate the composition and genetic metabolism of functional microorganisms, and key environmental factors influencing hydrocarbon-degrading microorganisms in oil-contaminated soil. The insights gained aim to provide a scientific foundation for biological resources and theoretical guidance in the bioremediation of oil-contaminated soil.
