Zea mays (maize) was used as the research material, and two F2 mapping populations were constructed for Fusarium ear rot (FER) and Gibberella ear rot (GER) resistance, respectively. Bulked segregant analysis (BSA) was performed with four parental lines (R07, R08, R13 and R14) and four extreme bulks (R09, R11, R15 and R17), and whole genome sequencing (WGS) was conducted for the four parental lines and four bulks. The sequencing data will be used for QTL mapping to identify genomic regions associated with maize FER and GER traits.
