Sequencing of Iranian rice landrace Hashemi

The goal of this project was genomic sequencing of one of the two famous Iranian rice landrace entitled Hashemi (indica rice) in order to consider genetic variations compared to reference genome. At present, our goal is understanding the molecular regulation of agronomic and nutritional properties such as yield and yield components of this rice. This landrace has not been sequenced so far and there is not any genomic information about it in data bank of NCBI.
