悬浮颗粒物(Suspended Particulate Matter, SPM)的分布与扩散对河口水域生态环境、地貌演变、水产养殖以及航道工程等有重要影响。作者以黄河口及邻近海域为研究区,基于1997年-2018年532景Landsat TM/ETM /OLI和Sentinel-2 MSI卫星数据(云量<10%),在充分考虑传感器光谱响应差异的基础上,结合野外实测光谱和SPM浓度数据,建立了SPM多传感器一致性反演模型,进而利用模型计算得到黄河口及邻近海域悬浮颗粒物浓度时空分布数据集(1997-2018)。该数据集覆盖了黄河口、莱州湾以及渤海湾南部水域,空间分辨率为30 m。数据集包括1997-2018年每年平均的SPM浓度分布数据和多年月平均的SPM浓度分布数据。 数据集存储为.tif格式,投影坐标系为WGS_1984_UTM_Zone_50N,共包含68个数据文件,数据量为3.03 GB (压缩为3个文件,968 MB)。该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《Marine Pollution Bulletin》2019年第149卷,编号为110518。

The distribution and diffusion of Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) exert significant impacts on the ecological environment, geomorphic evolution, aquaculture, waterway engineering and other aspects of estuarine waters. Taking the Yellow River Estuary and its adjacent waters as the study area, the authors collected 532 scenes of Landsat TM/ETM+/OLI and Sentinel-2 MSI satellite data from 1997 to 2018 (cloud cover <10%). On the basis of fully considering the differences in spectral responses among different sensors, combined with in-situ measured spectral and SPM concentration data, a multi-sensor consistent inversion model for SPM was established. Furthermore, the spatio-temporal distribution dataset of SPM concentration in the Yellow River Estuary and its adjacent waters from 1997 to 2018 was calculated using this model. This dataset covers the Yellow River Estuary, Laizhou Bay and the southern waters of Bohai Bay, with a spatial resolution of 30 m. The dataset includes annual average SPM concentration distribution data and multi-year monthly average SPM concentration distribution data from 1997 to 2018. The dataset is stored in .tif format, with the projected coordinate system of WGS_1984_UTM_Zone_50N. It contains a total of 68 data files, with a total data volume of 3.03 GB (compressed into 3 files, 968 MB). The analytical research results of this dataset were published in *Marine Pollution Bulletin*, Volume 149, 2019, with the article number 110518.
