The Australian Grasslands Initiative (https://bioplatforms.com/projects/australian-grasslands/) is a collaborative partnership aiming to identify the adaptive traits and biomolecular characteristics of Australian rangeland grasses by integrating biogeography, phenotyping, genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. The Initiative seeks to enhance ecological conservation, improve agricultural resilience, and identify traits that confer tolerance to extreme environments, benefiting both biodiversity and food security. Bioplatforms Australia is enabled by the Commonwealth Government National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
