Data and scripts to accompany: Hurricane air-sea drag saturation and sea-state dependence revealed by surface drones (2026)

final_data_20min.tgz: Drag coefficient and related variables, calculated for each 20-minute time period from the high-resolution data in final_data.tgz. final_data.tgz: High-resolution data from saildrones during 19 tropical cyclone intercepts during 2021-2024. Data have been quality-controlled for calculation of direct covariance momentum flux and drag coefficient. https://www.pmel.noaa.gov/usv-hurricane/ MATLAB scripts to read the data and calculate Cd and related parameters are also provided.
