In this study, we used lambs generated by aseptic hysterectomy as animal models to explore the microbiota of the prenatal GI tract, placenta, and amniotic fluid using 16S rDNA sequencing technology, and to compare the microbial composition of the prenatal GI tract with that of placenta and amniotic fluid.
