Grainyhead binding, chromatin accessibility, and gene expression in divergent Drosophila melanogaster strains

This study aimed to measure the contribution of variation in Grainyhead binding, by way of chromatin accessibility, to variation in gene expression. To this end, we collected Grainhead Cut&Run, ATAC-seq, and RNA-seq data from the third instar imaginal wing discs from two divergent strains of Drosophila melanogaster and their F1 hybrid.
