Mapping of the Gut Metagenome

The human gut microbiome plays a central role in maintaining digestive, metabolic, and immune health. Panchakarma, a classical Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy, is believed to restore internal balance and physiological harmony. However, its impact on the gut microbial ecosystem remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate the compositional and functional changes in the gut microbiome before and after Panchakarma therapy using shotgun metagenomic sequencing.
