We collected specimens of wild bees representing 21 species, 12 genera, and 5 families in and around Toronto, Canada. DNA was extracted from bees destructively and sent for metabarcode sequencing targeting the 16S and ITS1 loci to characterize bacterial and fungal associates respectively.
