ThepresentarticleprovidesacognitiveanalysisofonomatopoeticlexemesinRussian,English,andUzbekwithinacomparative-typologicalframework.Thestudyexploresthelinguisticnatureofsound-imitativeunits,theirmentalrepresentation,andtheprocessesofconceptualization.Particularattentionisgiventophonosemanticfeatures,reduplicationmodels,emotional-expressivefunctions,andculture-specificcharacteristicsofonomatopoeicexpressions.Basedondatafromthethreelanguages,theresearchidentifiesbothuniversalpatternsandnationallydeterminedfeatures,aswellasthedegreeoficonicityintherelationshipbetweensoundandmeaning.Thefindingsdemonstratetheroleofonomatopoeticlexemesinconceptformationandtheirdiscursivefunctionsinshapingcognitivemodelsofreality
