Sea ice and oceanographic data in polynya region off Cape Darnley during JARE59

During JARE59, sea ice and oceanographic observations were conducted in the region off Cape Darnley. On 25 February 2018, sea ice conditions were recorded in accordance with the protocol for visual ice observation established by ASPeCt. On 26 February 2018, sea ice samples, water samples were obtained.The vertical profile of water temperature and salinity were measured by the XCTD, and the surface temperature and salinity were measured by SBE37 MicroCAT. The sea ice texture were analyzed throgh thick and thin sections of sea ice. The size distributions of particle in sea ice and seawter were measured with the Coulter counter. The cell abundance, species composition, and cell size were measuered by a microscope.
