This is a genome annotation gff file of the grey reef shark chromosome-level genome. It should be regarded as a preliminary annotation as we had limted tissue for transcriptome data and thus only preivously published RNA-seq and protein evidence was avaiable. BRAKER3 ab initio predictions identified 16,522 genes which are intended to use only as a starting point for further more thorough analyses.
