Powder X-ray diffraction patterns of δ-(Al,Fe)OOH at high pressures and high temperatures

This record contains supplementary data to the article "Linking the spin transition of ferric iron in δ-(Al,Fe)OOH to water storage in the lower mantle" by Buchen et al. (2025). Please see Buchen et al. (2025) for further information on data acquisition and reduction. The data set provides powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns in the form of diffracted intensity (I) as a function of diffraction angle (2θ). Each XRD pattern is deposited as an xy-file with two columns: 1st column = diffraction angle (2θ) in degrees; 2nd column = diffracted intensity (I) in counts. The folder d-AlFeOOH_HPRT contains the XRD patterns collected at high pressures and room temperature. The folder d-AlFeOOH_HPHT contains the XRD patterns collected at high pressures and high temperatures. The experimental pressures and temperatures for all XRD patterns are summarized in the table d-AlFeOOH_HP-HT-XRD.
