Gene expression profile at single cell level of skin cells from back skin of control and Piezo1 inducible knock-out mice

Piezo1 is a mechanoactive calcium ion channel and is expressed in skin cells. We used single cell RNA sequencing (ScRNAseq) to analyze the functions of mechanical sensing by Piezo1 in hair follicle cells. Overall design: Hair follicle stem cells were sorted from telogen mouse back skin with a regime of K14H2BGFP+/Cd34+/Itga6+/Sca-1-, then Jun Cut-n-Run were performed on the sorted cells.
