资源简介:
This dataset contains behavioral and demographic data collected as part of a study investigating the dynamics of manipulation and aggression in individuals with antisocial and psychopathic tendencies. It is based on self-reported measures using the Deenz Antisocial Personality Scale (DAPS-24) and Deenz Psychopathy Spectrum Scale (DPSS-24), instruments designed to assess key traits associated with these personality constructs. The data represents a sample of 32 participants, reflecting a diverse range of behaviors and personality characteristics.Dataset StructureThe dataset consists of 16 variables divided into demographic details and scores for the DAPS-24 and DPSS-24 scales. Below is a breakdown:1. Demographic VariablesParticipant_ID: A unique identifier for each participant.Age: Participants’ age, ranging from 18 to 40 years, with an average age of approximately 28.4 years (SD = 6.2).Gender: Binary gender categories, Male and Female, with a nearly balanced representation (15 males, 17 females).2. DAPS-24 VariablesThe Deenz Antisocial Personality Scale assesses eight facets of antisocial behavior:Apathy: Measures emotional indifference toward others’ needs or feelings (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Deceitfulness: Indicates tendencies toward dishonesty and manipulation (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Impulsivity: Captures spontaneous and often reckless behaviors (scores range: 3.5–5.0).Irresponsibility: Reflects a lack of accountability for actions or obligations (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Callousness: Assesses a lack of empathy or concern for others (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Aggressiveness: Reflects tendencies toward hostility or confrontational behavior (scores range: 3.5–5.0).Glibness: Represents superficial charm used to manipulate others (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Obtuseness: Measures an inability or unwillingness to learn from mistakes (scores range: 3.0–4.5).3. DPSS-24 VariablesThe Deenz Psychopathy Spectrum Scale evaluates six traits associated with psychopathy:Lack_of_Empathy: Similar to callousness, reflecting emotional coldness and disinterest in others’ suffering (scores range: 3.5–5.0).Impulsive_Behavior: Captures erratic or poorly planned actions (scores range: 3.5–5.0).Manipulative_Behavior: Reflects a tendency to exploit or deceive others (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Superficial_Charm: Assesses the ability to use charm strategically for personal gain (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Aggression: Overlaps with DAPS-24 Aggressiveness but with more emphasis on physical or verbal hostility (scores range: 3.5–5.0).Sense_of_Self_Worth: Reflects an inflated self-view or grandiosity (scores range: 3.0–5.0).Key Characteristics and InsightsPopulation Profile: Participants in this dataset are young adults primarily recruited from university campuses and community organizations. The sample’s balanced gender distribution and age range provide a realistic cross-section of individuals likely to display varying degrees of antisocial and psychopathic traits.Trait Interplay: The dataset captures key behavioral dynamics, such as:High impulsivity correlating with heightened aggression.Glibness paired with manipulative behavior, reflecting strategic use of charm for personal gain.Participants transitioning to aggression when superficial charm fails to yield desired outcomes.Behavioral Variability: Individual scores vary across traits, highlighting the nuanced and multifaceted nature of antisocial and psychopathic behaviors. For example:Some participants exhibit high callousness and lack of empathy but low impulsivity, indicating calculated rather than erratic behaviors.Others score high in impulsivity and irresponsibility, reflecting a more reckless and reactive profile.ApplicationsThis dataset can be used to:Analyze Trait Correlations: Explore how traits like impulsivity and manipulativeness interact to predict behavior patterns.Develop Behavioral Models: Build predictive models of manipulative and aggressive tactics based on participant profiles.Inform Clinical Practices: Guide interventions by identifying key traits associated with antisocial and psychopathic tendencies.
