Next generation sequencing analysis of T cell receptor gamma and delta chains and STAT genes on patients affected by TCRgamma/delta lymphoproliferative disorders

A deep-analysis (TCR-NGS) in a cohort of 11 patients affected by Tgamma/delta neoplasm (pt1-pt2 HSTCL, pt3-pt11 T-LGLL) compared to 23 healthy controls showed that patients' dominant gamma and delta clonotypes were mainly public and exhibit different V-(D)-J usage between patients with symptomatic and indolent disease. STAT mutational NGS analysis demonstrated STAT3 mutations in 7 T-LGLL patients and STAT5B mutations in 3 T-LGLL cases and the 2 HSTCL.
