A price survey of a single electric kettle across the nation revealed that the average price in December 2016 was 14,725 yen. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the month with the highest price for electric kettles among supermarkets nationwide was April 2016 at 16,127 yen, while the month with the lowest price was June 2015 at 13,332 yen. The price difference between the peak (April 2016) and the lowest (June 2015) periods for electric kettles across the national area was 2,794.8724 yen.
