AWD Suitability Maps of Vietnam

AWD (Alternate Wetting and Drying) suitability maps of three seasons including Winter-Spring (Season 1), Summer-Autumn (Season 2), Autumn- Winter (Season 3) were developed for Vietnam using the MapAWD tool, following the method introduced by Nelson et al. (2015) (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0145268) and Sander et al. (2017) (https://doi.org/10.1080/17583004.2017.1362945). The map is stored in Geotiff/asc format, using Geographic longitude-latitude projection (EPSG 4326), in 500m resolution. The value of each pixel of the datasets ranges from -2 to 3: [-2]: Not planted [-1, 0, 1]: Not suitable [2]: Moderately suitable [3]: Highly suitable
