资源简介:
About This is a spreadsheet document containing the Food Chemicals of Concern (FCOC) List originally developed for use within the Chemicals of Concern (CoC) metric methodology applied within the Understanding Packaging (UP) Scorecard. The chemicals of concern within this list are prioritized and grouped into three tiers, where Tier 1 presents a shortlist of priority chemicals of concern to avoid, based on broad stakeholder agreement, and Tiers 2 and 3 present more extensive sets of chemicals that should not be used in the manufacture of food contact materials. The inclusion of substances on this list is based on research and information provided by leading NGOs and industry associations including Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), the Food Safety Alliance for Packaging (FSAP), and the Food Packaging Forum (FPF). To reflect the best science available, this document will be periodically updated in future versions of the scorecard.
