Zostera marina seedling microbiome

16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing from Zostera marina seedlings germinated from either surface-sterilized seeds (Reduced) or seeds with their native microbiome (Intact). Plants were grown in one of three different chambers (petri dish, test tube, or EcoFAB 2.0) to see any effect on host morphology or microbiome composition. Plant growth stages of interest were Stage 1 (initial germination, before introduction to chambers), Stage 3 (when the first true leaf had developed, and Stage 6 (when the cotyledon had senesced and abscised, roots had formed, and the second true leaf had appeared).
