资源简介:
The physics of ejecta is of direct scientific interest to fields like planetary impact and shock-related works where ejecta can disrupt measurements, damage equipment, or even present safety hazards. Despite extensive experimental and theoretical studies, the influence of geometry and edge effects on the ejection
phenomena are still poorly known. We recently demonstrated that X-ray radiography is particularly well suited for such studies, through preliminary experiments performed in the frame of the shock BAG that gave outstanding results. The goal of the present proposal is to push further these studies, by combining time resolved radiography measurements coupled with velocimetry and mass measurements in various configurations highlighting the influence of geometry and edge effects.
