Liana community structure and environmental variables dataset across five forest ecosystems in Ghana

This dataset covers liana community and associated environmental variables from seventy-five plots distributed in five forest ecosystem types in Ghana. Three sheets are presented: data_long_format contains summary of plot level information for lianas and evironmental variables. data_plotlevel_abundance contains list of species, families and corresponding abundance values for each species in each plot. data_plotlevel_basalarea contains list of species, families and corresponding basal area values for each species in each plot. variables contain brief descriprion of column names contained in sheets 1-3.
