Klebsiella spp. OXA-48 colonizations

24 OXA-48 and non-OXA-48 K. pneumoniae and 3 OXA-48-K. aerogenes isolates from 11 patients with long-term colonization, and hospitalized between 2016 and 2021, were characterized using whole-genome sequence, in order to assess the impact of carriage on the acquisition of virulence factors and the differences in colonizing isolates and those causing extraintestinal infection.
