The changes of outlet gases concentrations from SOFC with Ce(Pr,Sm)O2-s layers

The dataset includes The changes of outlet gases concentrations from SOFC with Ce(Pr,Sm)O2-s layers. Samples were produced using aqueous soft chemistry methods (microemulsion method) and applied in form of a layer onto the anode of the commercial SOFC. The SOFC was working under biogas feeding.
"Simultaneously with electrical tests, an analysis of the composition of the outlet gases from SOFC was performed using a Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (PerkinElmer Spectrum 100 with ZnSe optical windows). FTIR spectra were collected every 10 min within the wavenumber range of 4000–500 cm−1 with a resolution of 4 cm−1. Concentrations of methane, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide were then calculated. Although H2 gas is not visible in FTIR spectra, after a calibration process, we were able to determine its concentration as a difference from 100% of summed CH4, CO2 and CO concentrations.
