THE IMPACT OF ENDOMETRIOSIS ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

Endometriosis is a common chronic gynecological disease affecting women of reproductive age and is characterized by the presence and growth of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterine cavity. This condition is one of the leading causes of chronic pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, and infertility. Endometriosis has a significant negative impact on women's reproductive health and quality of life. This article reviews the etiology, pathogenesis, impact on reproductive health, as well as contemporary diagnostic and treatment approaches to endometriosis based on current scientific literature.
