Experimental atherosclerosis was established by feeding Apoe KO mice a western diet(WD) for 14 weeks and experimental cerebral ischemia was established by bilateral carotid artery stenosis (BCAS). RNA-seq was perfomed to investigate the potential gene regulation of AS-Exos-dependent changes of microglia in the corpus callosum after BCAS. Transcriptional profiles of microglia sorted from Sham mice, BCAS mice, BCAS mice treated with ND-Exos, and BCAS mice treated with WD-Exos.
