The series consists of 16mm [millimetre] films maintained by the Business and Government Branch of the Department of Energy and its predecessors for information and public relations purposes. The series consists of two Australian made film titles, Switch on Bigga Australia (2 copies) and Charge to Electric Melting (1 copy). There are also six UK and USA produced titles.The topics include the advantages of electric induction heating methods used in metal melting processes, and the introduction of electric power to Crookwell, the town of Bigga and surrounding areas. The films were produced in colour and numbered.
