GSN 069 is the first galactic nucleus where quasi-periodic eruptions (QPEs) havebeen identified. Recent analysis of its long-term X-ray evolution coupled withlong XMM-Newton exposures reveals that QPEs disappear above a bolometricluminosity threshold of 3.5e43 erg/s of the quiescent emission. If confirmedthis observational fact is highly constraining for QPE models. We request oneTOO observation of GSN 069 to confirm the absence of QPEs above threshold andwere they instead be detected to characterise their properties at so-farunexplored high luminosity levels. We propose a set of joint Swift monitoringobservations that will be used to trigger the proposed XMM-Newton TOO. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
