Molecular characterization of the red alga Anotrichium tenue (Ceramiales, Rhodophyta) based on topotype material. Anotrichium tenue from the type locality Venice

Here we characterize A. tenue from the type locality in Venice by a molecular point of view using the plastidial rbcL and psbA genes as molecular markers to allow a rapid and correct identification of this species in future studies regarding the biodiversity in extra-Mediterranean areas.
