The data set contains barbecue locations for the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district. In public parks and green areas, grilling is generally prohibited in order to avoid fires or harassment of residents. On specially signposted places, however, barbecues are also allowed in public parking and recreation facilities. There are no designated barbecue areas in the districts Spandau and Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Please note temporary barbeque bans imposed by the local district offices in case of drought and heat!
