Project Overview This repository contains the (the Chronic Rodent Epilepsy EEG Database (CREED), a multi-modal dataset of electrophysiological recordings from C57BL/6N mice designed to support computational epilepsy research. The data captures various stages of epilepsy, including status epilepticus, epileptogenesis, and the chronic phase.
Dataset Contents The data is divided into three primary batches:
- Batch 1 (LFP_EEG_48h): Simultaneous cortical EEG and hippocampal LFP (dorsal and ventral CA1) recordings. Includes 48 hours of data for epileptic mice and 24 hours for controls.
- Batch 2 (EEG_40day): Long-term, continuous single-channel cortical EEG recordings spanning 40 consecutive days.
- Batch 3 (EEG_EMG_23h): Simultaneous EEG and EMG recordings covering baseline and Status Epilepticus sessions.
Metadata:
Excel files are provided for each batch containing:
- Recording start times and dates.
- Manual annotations for seizure timing and duration.
-HPDs frequency data.
Potential Applications:
This dataset is optimized for the development and validation of automated detection algorithms for seizures, High-Frequency Oscillations, and HPDs.
