资源简介:
Development of female labour during the period from 1914 to 1945.
The basis for the collection of data about female labour were the results of the population-, occupationcensus, and census of enterprises in the period of 1907 and 1939.
The Study deals with the following subjects:
- the shifting process of female labour in the first half of the 20th century, mainly the move from the ‘home services’ and the agricultural work;
- the strong growth of female labour in white-collor-professions, reaching the peak in the years of 1920 and in the 2nd World war;
- the calculation of the male and female wage-ratio for equivalent work;
- the calculation of wage range – i.e. the percental difference between male- and female wages and the change of the difference;
- the rate of unionisation of female workers (as measured by female membership in labour unions).
