Analytical dataset for assessing PFAS exposure through dust in healthcare environments (HEALTH-PFAS)

This dataset was generated within the HEALTH-PFAS project, which aimed to evaluate exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) through indoor dust in healthcare environments. A total of 19 dust samples were collected from two healthcare centers and analyzed for a panel of target PFAS using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS). The dataset includes the quantified PFAS concentrations (ng/g) and a set of survey variables describing relevant environmental and operational characteristics of the sampling locations (e.g., type of area, flooring materials, cleaning frequency, and equipment use). These data support the assessment of PFAS occurrence and distribution in healthcare dust, as well as statistical analyses linking environmental factors to contaminant levels.
