Business Economists: Job Content and Qualification Requirements

The purpose of this survey, which forms part of a project entitled 'Civiløkonomer som medarbejdere og ledere' (Business Economists as Employees and Managers), is to gain knowledge of the job content of business economists who graduated in the period 1975-1982. Furthermore, the survey examines the qualification requirements they are expected to meet and whether they have obtained these qualifications at the Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration. The subjects examined are general qualifications, specific qualifications, inter-personal qualifications and skills in working methods. #In practice, the survey will be useful in the planning of higher educations within the fields of business economics, and, to some extent, technical studies. Furthermore, the survey will be of importance in the planning of in-service training of business economists and in the planning of other higher educations aimed at employment in the private sector. #Finally, the results of the survey may be used by business economists who are already employed as well as people who consider entering such a career
