This series comprises records of decisions regarding part-time appointments that have been approved at Cabinet meetings. Judicial and Statutory appointments to positions include trustees of superannuation boards, electricity providers and other state-owned enterprises, local health boards, TAFE district committees, magistrates and judges, food safety boards and a wide range of other government bodies or state-owned enterprises.The records in this series are for appointments made in the usual arrangement which is for appointments to be approved at Cabinet meetings.Files are arranged chronologically  by the year and date in which the appointments were made.  Most bundles contain associated papers regarding a position (salary details, duration of position, resume and qualifications of the appointee, correspondence) with a cover sheet headed with the date of the Cabinet meeting the decision was submitted, endorsement status, and any related notes.
