Pinellia ternata root cell death induced by the phenolic acids is associated with the Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) as elucidated by transcriptomic and biochemistry approaches

Continuous cropping is a system in which certain crops are replanted in the fields that had previously cultivated the same plant species. Pinellia ternata is a famous traditional medicine in Asian which is suffered from continuous cropping. In this program, we used the different phenolic acids to treat Pinellia ternata seedlings. By using the transcriptome and biochemistry methods, the allelochemicals effects of phenolic acids on Pinellia ternata seedlings were studied.
