资源简介:
Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum systemic organophosphorus herbicide used to control broad-leaved weeds and perennial grasses. Metagenomics analysis reveals the impact of glyphosate exposure on taxonomic and functional dynamics of soil microbiome. Diverse glyphosate-based herbicides formulations influence microbial community dynamics due to longer half-life of glyphosate in water and soil, mechanisms of action, ecological toxicity to non-target species, which necessitates soil quality assessment in sustainable agroecosystems. Soil samples were collected from Bargarh district of Odisha, India. Genomic DNA was extracted followed by sequencing.16S rRNA amplicon analysis of glyphosate treated soil in different days after treatment showed wide variations in relative distribution of bacterial taxa from phylum to species level.
