资源简介:
This study aims to investigate the reparative effects of Clostridium sporogenes and indole-3-propionic acid on antibiotic-induced muscle atrophy. Firstly, a broad-spectrum compound antibiotic was used to construct a gut microbiota depletion model and induce muscle atrophy in mice. On this basis, the repair effect of supplementing Clostridium sporogenes and indole-3-propionic acid, as well as natural recovery treatment, on damaged muscles were systematically evaluated from aspects such as muscle weight and muscle fiber morphology. Meanwhile, combined with microbiome, metabolomics, metabolic enzyme activities and molecular expressions, the potential mechanisms of their promotion of muscle atrophy repair were clarified. The expected results of this study will provide theoretical support for the in-depth understanding of the "gut-muscle axis" theory and provide potential intervention strategies for the prevention and treatment of muscle atrophy-related diseases.
