Whole genome sequencing of E. coli MG1655 with cysteine mutations in ftsA gene

Whole genome sequencing of genome engineered E. coli MG1655 bearing cysteine mutations for in vivo cross-linking in the ftsA gene. WGS was used to verify mutations and marker insertion. WGS data was also used to check for unwanted gene duplications and/or suppressor mutations in functionally related genes.
