Data provided is from a University of Waikato field study in a mangrove forest in the Firth of Thames, New Zealand. The Field Log details all efforts of the data collection. Data products presented here only relate to water level (with respect to a fixed vertical datum). A storm event coinciding with spring tide created a 10-year high water event captured during the deployment. The data has a high level of spatial and temporal detail of the flood event, as well as normal tidal cycles, in a single cross-shore transect.
