Hematopoietic stem cells are cloned from mice, either with or without a PML-RAR mutation, that have been on a high-fat diet or standard diet (control group). Whole genome sequencing is performed on clones and tail DNA to assess mutation numbers and patterns in the hematopoietic lineage in these experimental conditions.
