Hydro-Climatic Runoff and Precipitation Data
收藏资源简介:
Title Hydro-Climatic Runoff and Precipitation Data for “Modeling and Developing the Synthetic Hydrographs of Ungauged Catchments of Balochistan Rivers Using Machine Learning” Dataset Description In addition to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) gauge data, this collection offers daily precipitation and river-runoff observations assembled for hydrological modeling of the three main river basins in Balochistan: Hingol, Dasht, and Porali. The information supports the modeling of synthetic hydrographs for ungauged catchments using machine learning.Spatial Domain: Balochistan, Pakistan; Hingol, Dasht, and Porali river basinsTime Period: 2013–2024 (in-situ PMD data 2022–2023)Variables: Streamflow/Runoff (m³/s) and precipitation (mm/day).Coordinate reference: WGS84. File Description: This dataset is available free of charge for educational and research purposes only. Anyone using this data is kindly requested to cite our DOI along with the following author names: Maham Akram, Dr. Shahid Ali, and Dr. Saman Shahid. Contents of the Repository File 1: Hingol_River_Precipitation_Runoff.xlsx The Hingol River catchment's daily precipitation and river discharge data, along with evapotranspiration, soil moisture, and temperature, are combined into daily time steps, from 2013 to 2024. File 2: Dasht_River_Precipitation_Runoff.xlsx The Dasht River catchment's daily precipitation and river discharge data, along with evapotranspiration, soil moisture, and temperature, are combined into daily time steps from 2013 to 2024. File 3: Porali_River_Precipitation_Runoff.xlsx The Porali River catchment's daily precipitation and river discharge data, along with evapotranspiration, soil moisture, and temperature, are combined into daily time steps, from 2013 to 2024. File 4: PMD_Hingol_Observation_2022_2023.xlsx Model calibration and validation were conducted using in-situ precipitation and streamflow data from the Hingol River basin, provided by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), for the years 2022–2023. Data Sources · ERA5: Climate Engine was used to collect daily precipitation (mm/day) data with a spatial resolution of around 0.25° (~25 km). · Daily surface runoff (mm/day), soil moisture (mm) and evapotranspiration (mm) with a resolution of approximately 0.25° (~25 km) is provided by the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS). · According to in-situ gauges, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) recorded daily precipitation (mm/day) and river discharge/runoff (m³/s) for the Hingol River basins in 2022–2023. ==========
