The results of closed reduction and percutaneous pin fixation in 78 children with Gartland type II–III supracondylar fractures were analyzed. According to Flynn's criteria, satisfactory results were obtained in 96.2 % of cases. The lateral and crossed fixation techniques did not differ in terms of functional outcome; however, iatrogenic ulnar nerve injury was recorded in the crossed fixation group.
